Pastor Neal Blizzard

Neal Bizzard was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia and received salvation and the call into the ministry at age 14. After working in various youth ministries, he attended Apostolic Bible Institute of St. Paul, Minnesota. Upon graduation, he married his childhood sweetheart, Sandra, and worked for a year as an assistant minister in Hamilton, Ohio, before beginning a new church in Bethel, Ohio. A licensed minister since 1970, he received his ordination in 1977 and raised a family and church work for 13 years.

In 1985, Pastor Blizzard returned to Columbus, Georgia, as Minister of Evangelism at the First United Pentecostal Church to assist Pastor H.L. Sheppard. In July of 1990 his family moved to Augusta, Georgia, to assist there until December 9, 1990, when he accepted the pastorship of the First United Pentecostal Church of Kingsland, Georgia, where he and his wife still minister. The church family has grown in number and grace during this time and has built additional facilities to accommodate the growth. Brother and Sister Blizzard´s son and daughter are both active in ministries in Minnesota and the Blizzard´s have been blessed with three beautiful grandchildren.

Besides his local ministry, Pastor Blizzard has been active in the Georgia District Home Missions Program as well as various prison and troubled youth ministries. He truly believes the church motto - "Expect A Miracle".
